Murder Trial nominated for 2021 Broadcast Awards

Murder Trial: The Disappearance of Margaret Fleming has been nominated for Best Documentary Series at the 2021 Broadcast Awards. Produced and Directed by Matt Pinder, this two part series was made with unprecedented access to a high profile murder trial that gripped Scotland. A co-commission between BBC TWO and BBC Scotland, the documentary follows the story of a prosecution without a body, a community without answers and a young woman without the means to look after herself - lost by a social care system, lost by friends and family and lost to time.

The winners of the Broadcast Awards 2021 will be revealed at a virtual ceremony on 27 May. We're very proud to be nominated in such a prestigious category, against the very best documentary output in Britain.
